Founded in 1883, next to the historic St Michael’s Cathedral in Riverleigh. The school started from humble beginnings with three converted covenant buildings, renovated into classrooms and common areas.
In 1903, we welcomed our first boarders to Riverleigh. Starting with just 32 students from across Eastern Australia. Many were from sheep properties west of Broken Hill.
We welcomed our first junior school students, with their new purpose built centre decades ahead of it’s time.
Our new purpose built Senior Campus crafted by world renowned architect Saha Hadid. Five stories of purpose built academic spaces and open learning spaces. Another first of it’s kind for the Australiasia region.
